prayer in many languages &

offs compress our devotion
[it sold for much more than
an auctioneer’s expectation
of minor supply & demands
of auld reduced invocations
in a small marketplace] – As
our school’s local vicar told
us ‘bout God’s love we took
out pages of His only book –
we removed his thin sheets
[comparing them to school
loo paper] – reducing it all –
[we tore Our Lord’s Prayer]
