Crying, Out Loud

I was sink-bent,
slapped, cold-splash,
To invert my wet,
tear-fear:

Roll-scars warmed,
by a damp flannel,
Then, wiped sight
back – familiar.

I wish for
re-invention:
This request,
to shift pain’s stains,

My loss,
my disconnections,
Repealed in
hoped-for mind games.
